About Me

Hi there! My name is Faith. My mother's side of the family is from Ukraine, and she grew up in what used to be known as the Soviet Union. Eventually, she immigrated to the States, where my parents met. My English name, Faith, when translated to Russian, is pronounced "Vera", hence the play on words seen in my blog title.

Asides from school, I enjoy both leisurely and mentally stimulating passivities and activities. I enjoy playing piano, crafting (shown above), and reading what are categorized as "self help" books (I just find the crossover between sociology, psychology, and religion fascinating). Being exposed to many different outdoor sports growing up in the PNW kickstarted my interests in swimming, sailing, running, and skiing. I also love to spend and dedicate quality time to my family and the people I love; perhaps that is what I value over all other aspects of my life. After all, humans are biologically designed and flourish best when given and pursue the chance to socialize and form deep connections.

I am a student at LBCC studying business administration. I am taking a transfer degree program, so I plan to continue my studies, but in accounting, once my two years is up. I am enjoying my time here so far and have noticed that my motivation is being furthered since I moved a few hours away from home to pursue a different life. I hope to be prepared for wherever God takes my life next.

In BA223, I hope to learn much about how corporations and businesses manage to effectively reach the public.

If you've made it this far, congrats! Thank you for reading about me in a nutshell. I hope you have a lovely rest of your day.
